Russia lifts aluminum alloy export duties, cuts to 5% on ferrosilicon
MOSCOW, Oct 28 (PRIME) -- The Russian government has approved zeroing the export duties on aluminum alloys and a decrease of export duties on ferrosilicon to 5%, the government said in a statement on Thursday.
The new duties will come in force in 30 days for the contracts and deals signed after October 18, the government said.
Previously, the duties for ferrosilicon amounted to 15% but no less than U.S. $150 per tonne, while the aluminum export duty was 15% but no less than $254 per tonne.
